This engagement is part of a large-scale banking digital and technology transformation program delivered in partnership with one of the largest global consulting firms

Contract Duration, Time Commitment & Location

• Duration: 36 months initially, with strong potential for extension
• Payrate in USD
• Commitment: Full-time
• Working Hours: Supporting Thai business hours
• Location: Thailand also candidate from South East Asia who has right to work in Thailand
• Onsite Requirement: if candidate from South East Asia country 50% onsite in Thailand, 50% remote

Project Overview

The program focuses on modernizing and replacing legacy digital channels with a new, scalable digital architecture, enabling a seamless multi-channel customer experience. The initiative leverages modern technologies and architectural design patterns to future-proof the bank's digital capabilities and enhance customer outcomes.

Role Overview

The Senior Banking Architect will work as part of an enterprise / program architecture team, contributing to program-wide architecture decisions and providing leadership across multiple delivery streams.

You will play a key role in guiding and overseeing solution architects operating within an Agile delivery model, ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Act as a senior contributor to enterprise and solution architecture decisions across the program
• Define and govern architecture standards covering:
• Applications
• Data
• Integration
• Cloud and infrastructure
• Review, guide, and provide oversight to solution architects across multiple agile teams
• Ensure architectural alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term platform strategy
• Support design reviews, architecture forums, and key stakeholder discussions
• Provide strong architecture leadership to enable effective delivery of modern digital platforms

Required Profile (Must Have)

• Senior Banking Architect operating at Enterprise and/or Solution level
• 10+ years of experience working as an architect within major banks or for major banking clients
• Proven experience delivering large-scale digital, platform, or core technology transformations in reputable banks
• Strong hands-on exposure to modern technology architectures (digital channels, integration layers, cloud-based platforms)
• Comfortable working in complex, multi-vendor, Agile program environments
• Language: Fluent English (Thai is a strong advantage, but not mandatory)
