Role Purpose

Own the end‑to‑end non‑life product implementation lifecycle on AS/400—from discovery through go‑live—ensuring that product definitions, rating, underwriting rules, policy lifecycle (NB/Endorsement/Renewal/Cancellation), billing, and claims integrations are delivered on time, compliant, and production‑ready. This role is self‑managed, thrives in multi‑tasking environments, and requires strong insurance (P&C / non‑life) domain knowledge.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the product build for non‑life line of products (e.g., PA, Health), covering rate tables, coverage, underwriting rules, fees, taxes, and endorsements on AS/400.
  • Orchestrate SIT/UAT, cutover, and release planning in line with the enterprise release calendar and regulatory blackout windows.
  • Translate business goals into clear BRD/FSD/User Stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios; maintain traceability from requirements to production.
  • Specify interfaces between AS/400 and surrounding systems
  • Embed regulatory and audit requirements (e.g., OIC filings/controls, consent & KYC flags, disclosure artifacts) in design, data, and controls.
  • Lead defect triage, root‑cause analysis, and production readiness checks; monitor defect leakage and stabilization metrics post‑go‑live.
  • Act as the bridge between business owners (Underwriting, Operations, Distribution, Finance/Actuarial) and technology teams (Core, Integration, QA).
  • Run workshops, decision logs, and sign‑offs; communicate risks, scope, and trade‑offs to sponsors with clarity and data.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–10+ years as a Business Analyst (or System Analyst) delivering insurance solutions.
  • Proven end‑to‑end product implementation on AS/400 (IBM i) environments—collaborating closely with AS/400 is a plus
  • Strong command of policy administration concepts (rating, underwriting, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, claims touchpoints) and partner/channel nuances.
  • Hands‑on experience producing BRD/FSD/User Stories, test scenarios, and managing SIT/UAT/cutover.
  • Comfortable driving multiple workstreams concurrently with minimal supervision.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Familiarity with Thai OIC product filing and compliance cycles.
  • Proven end‑to‑end product implementation on AS/400 (IBM i) environments—collaborating closely with AS/400 is a plus

Core Competencies (Behavioral)

  • Ownership & self‑management: plans work, escalates early, meets commitments without close supervision.
  • Structured multi‑tasking: prioritizes across products, keeps WIP visible and controlled.
  • Analytical problem‑solving: synthesizes rules and data into executable designs.
  • Stakeholder influence: frames trade‑offs, secures decisions, and drives alignment.
  • Detail orientation with regulatory mindfulness (auditability, traceability, evidence).

Success Measures (KPIs)

  • Time‑to‑market: % of product launches delivered on or before target release.
  • Quality: UAT pass rate; defect leakage to production ≤ agreed threshold.
  • Compliance: zero critical audit/regulatory findings tied to product changes.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction: UAT/business sponsor.
  • Documentation & traceability: 100% of requirements traceable to test evidence and release artifacts.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering/Business (or equivalent).
  • Master's degree a plus.

Language
