Job Description

We are seeking a high-caliber Finance Leader to act as the Business Controller for our Contract Logistics (CL) division across the Southeast Asia cluster.

This is a critical strategic role that acts as the co-pilot to the Contract Logistics business leader, bridging the gap between finance and operations, serving as a strategic challenger and advisor to the leadership team. This role reports directly to the VP Finance, Southeast Asia, with a dotted line to the Head of Contract Logistics.

In this capacity, this is not just about reporting, but beyond reporting to drive the financial strategy, influence commercial decision-making on a cluster-wide scale, and enforce financial discipline across multiple geographies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CL Cluster Head. Challenge commercial assumptions, validate strategic initiatives, and drive the financial viability of site expansions and automation projects.
  • Take full ownership of the financial engagement model, acting as a strategic bridge to ensure total financial coverage of commercial activities (renewals, new business), proactively driving contract margin quality, and closing any partnership gaps.
  • Orchestrate the annual budget and quarterly rolling forecasts for the entire SEA CL cluster. Ensure alignment between top-down strategic targets and bottom-up operational capabilities.
  • Drive the performance management cycle for the CL business. Analyze and report on key financial KPIs for each site.
  • Monitor financial performance against contracts (both open and closed book), ensuring all services are billed correctly (revenue assurance), and all costs are managed.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of progressive experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity within a multinational environment.
  • Deep, specialized experience in Contract Logistics / 3PL Supply Chain is mandatory. Understanding of warehouse cost structures, Activity-Based Costing (ABC), and WMS data flows is essential.
  • Proven ability to act as a business partner, with strong influencing and communication skills
  • Expert-level analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
  • A proactive, investigative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Business fluency in Thai and English is mandatory.

Please note: The job title is being used for Talent Attraction and job advertisement purposes.
