Job Description

Join our regional Technology Hub – Customer Centricity team, where you will play a key role in driving digital, customer-centric enablement across ASEAN. In this role, you will partner closely with business units across multiple countries to design and deliver impactful digital solutions that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and support commercial growth.

You will take full ownership of solutions end-to-end from requirements gathering through implementation to post-go-live support - acting as a trusted advisor to business users while collaborating with regional and local IT teams, as well as external vendors.

This role offers the opportunity to create real business impact by accelerating digital transformation, improving regional consistency, enhancing decision-making, reducing operational risk, increasing user engagement, supporting strategic growth, and maximizing IT investment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Solution Ownership & Project Delivery

  1. Lead end-to-end delivery of customer-facing and internal business solutions (e.g., CRM, complaint management, digital ordering, etc.)
  2. Define solution architecture in alignment with regional digital strategy
  3. Own project scope, requirements, testing, deployment, and change management
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business units, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery

Business Analysis & Advisory

  1. Engage business users across ASEAN to understand needs, pain points, and improvement areas
  2. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
  3. Conduct stakeholder workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis
  4. Provide insights on best practices and industry benchmarks to guide solution design

Business As Usual Support (BAU)

  1. Provide application support for live systems within the customer centricity domain for change request, user request, and incidents
  2. Troubleshoot issues, manage incident resolution, and ensure service continuity
  3. Coordinate with global/regional DET operations and vendor support teams

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  1. Maintain solution documentation, data integrity, and compliance with DET policies
  2. Track user feedback to continuously improve system performance and usability
  3. Support audit, security, and governance processes as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information System, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 6 - 8 years of industry experience
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
  • Proven cases of delivering quantifiable business value through application delivery projects
  • Good business acumen and appreciation of business and system processes, preferably in manufacturing, B2B, B2B2C sectors
  • Experience working in a regional or multi-country business context
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment that involves priority setting and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skill and creative problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across cultures and levels and have a good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Willingness to regularly travel across ASEAN
  • Strong with customer-facing technologies (CRM, digital portals, complaint systems, etc.)
  • Proven success designing and implementing solutions on Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP CRM, or equivalent platforms
  • Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)

Preferred:

  • Experience in steel or industrial manufacturing sector
  • Understanding of regional compliance (e.g., data privacy laws in ASEAN)
