Job Description
Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil and Structural CAD Designer that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. This is an opportunity for you to become a valuable, well-rounded of an experienced team.

Responsibilities
- Produce Civil/Structural/Architectural deliverable 3D model and drawings using E3D, Tekla or SmartPlant3D i.e. pipe racks and pipe support steelwork, equipment supports and access platform structures, vertical vessel circular access platforms, building, superstructures, underground services, road & paving, piling, foundations, inclusive of reinforcement detailing and reinforcement bending schedules where applicable
- Drawings to be produced utilizing design sketches as provided by Civil Engineering group and extracted views from the 3D model. All drawings are to be produced in accordance with client, corporate standards, specifications and procedures as applicable. Ensure that the quality of drawings produced are of the specified or of a good standard
- Execute assigned work in accordance with the Project Execution Plan, applicable Project Procedures and Standards, including Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour and cost budgets. Plan the sequence of work to achieve the required project schedule
- Liaise with respective Civil Engineer on engineering related issues
- Liaise with other groups as necessary e.g. lead and designers from Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Vessels and Mechanical group
- Participate in design and checking work as required
- Assist in the training of CAD personnel including Designers when requested
- Carry out site visits and surveys as directed by the Engineer
Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil / Structure or other related to Civil/Structural work
- Min 8 years relevant experience.
- Familiar with CAD software : - E3D, Tekla , SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD, etc.
- Experience in architectural, civil, concrete & steel works. Experience in underground drainage 3D & 2D will be considered as advantage
- Able to work under pressure
- Productive, diligent and flexible
