Job Description

Role Overview

At Verita, we are fortunate to have amazing staff, incredible patients and many positive results but currently don't have the internal resources to effectively tell these stories and market to new potential patients.

We are looking for a versatile, self-directed and process-driven Senior Content & Marketing Coordinator who can shoot, edit, write, and coordinate across the full spectrum of our marketing activity. This is not a purely desk-based role – you will be in the clinic regularly, capturing real stories with real patients, working alongside our medical team, and turning that material into compelling content across social media, YouTube, our website, and marketing collateral.

You will work closely with our external marketing partners, feeding them content, insights, and ideas, while also owning the day-to-day community engagement across our social channels. The ideal candidate is someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera having a compassionate conversation with a late-stage cancer patient about their experience, in an editing suite or writing a blog post with a doctor looking over their shoulder.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Production

•       Capture high-quality, social-first content (photo, video, audio) within the clinic environment, including patient testimonials, treatment explainers, staff profiles, and facility footage.

•       Exercise exceptional discretion and sensitivity when working with patients, many of whom are undergoing treatment for late-stage cancer. Obtain and document informed consent for all patient-facing content.

•       Edit video content across multiple formats: short-form social clips (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), long-form YouTube testimonials, ad creatives for paid social campaigns, and internal/event content.

•       Apply video storytelling techniques that convey the Verita Life brand message with authenticity and emotional resonance, while maintaining compliance with healthcare advertising restrictions.

•       Generate original written and visual content that aligns with the Verita Life brand voice and resonates with an international (primarily Australian) audience.

Copywriting & AI Search Discoverability

•       Support the creation of a blog and article series co-authored by our medical team, translating clinical expertise into accessible, authoritative written content.

•       Write with an understanding of how content is surfaced by AI search platforms and LLMs, structuring articles for discoverability, authority signals, and topical depth.

•       Draft copy for social posts, email campaigns, landing pages, and marketing collateral as required.

Social Media & Community Management

•       Manage day-to-day community engagement across Verita Life's social media channels, responding to enquiries from prospective patients, caregivers, and the wider community with empathy, accuracy, and appropriate escalation to our wider teams.

•       Liaise with our external marketing partners to feed in content assets, campaign ideas, and execution support for social media and paid media activity.

•       Monitor social channels for trends, patient sentiment, and opportunities to engage.

Marketing Coordination & Strategy

•       Work with the wider Verita group marketing team to ideate and execute new content-led initiatives, such as a podcast series, live Q&A webinars, and physical awareness events.

•       Help to create internal processes and awareness of the importance of content to marketing efforts and overall business performance, collaborating with the team to ensure deadlines are established and met consistently.

•       Support the creation of marketing and sales collateral including brochures, presentations, and patient information packs.

•       Proactively contribute creative ideas and strategies for campaigns, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices in healthcare marketing and content.

•       Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent output across all channels.

Required Qualifications & Experience

•       3-5 years of experience in a content creation, social media, or marketing coordination role. Healthcare, wellness, or premium hospitality brand experience is strongly preferred.

•       Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit video content to a professional standard using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.

•       Strong photography skills and familiarity with lighting, composition, and mobile-first content capture.

•       Confident, engaging written English at near-native level, with the ability to write for an Australian audience. Thai fluency is a plus for day-to-day collaboration with the clinic team but not required.

•       Experience with social media management, including Meta Business Suite, YouTube, community management, and content scheduling tools.

•       Understanding of healthcare advertising restrictions and the ability to navigate compliance requirements (training will be provided, but awareness is expected).

•       A portfolio demonstrating video editing, social content, and written work.

Desirable Skills & Experience

•       Experience in medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical copywriting.

•       Understanding of SEO principles and an appropriate grounding in emerging AI search optimisation (e.g., how LLMs surface and cite content).

•       Experience working with external agencies, managing briefs and feedback loops.

•       Familiarity with sales tools and marketing automation platforms.

•       Podcast production experience or willingness to learn.

•       Experience with motion graphics or basic animation.

•       Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Personal Attributes

•       Empathetic, composed, and professional in sensitive clinical environments. You will regularly interact with patients facing serious illness.

•       Self-directed and resourceful – this is a role where you need to see opportunities for content and act on them without waiting to be briefed.

•       Culturally fluent across Thai and Western (particularly Australian) communication styles.

•       Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team where roles overlap and flexibility is valued.

•       Genuinely interested in health, wellness, and patient outcomes.

What We Offer

•       A meaningful role in a fast-paced healthcare organisation making a tangible difference in patients lives.

•       Strong growth and career development opportunities across our wider Group marketing needs with numerous brands under the Verita umbrella.

•       Exposure to international marketing strategy and collaboration with teams across multiple markets.

•       A creative, autonomous working environment with direct access to leadership.

•       Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits.

•       Professional development opportunities including healthcare compliance training and marketing skills development.
