About the Team
Our Corporate Regulatory and Advisory Team advises clients on commercial contracts, corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and DBD registration matters across a wide range of industries.
Our Junior and Mid-level Lawyers are capable of handling day-to-day assignments independently.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Lawyer to provide strategic direction, supervise the team's work, review complex matters, and maintain the quality of legal output.
What You Will Do
Be the team's lead lawyer
- Plan, assign, supervise, and review the team's work to ensure that all matters are properly managed and completed within the required timelines.
- Ensure that the team's work complies with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, internal procedures, and professional standards.
- Review and quality-control legal work to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and practical value to clients.
- Take ownership of complex, challenging, sensitive, or high-risk matters.
- Provide strategic direction and senior-level legal judgement where required.
- Coach, train, and advise Junior and Mid-level Lawyers to support their professional development and career progression.
Commercial Contract (Main)
- Draft, review, negotiate, and supervise the preparation of a wide range of commercial agreements,
Corporate Advisory & Corporate Compliance
- Plan, supervise, review, and advise on corporate matters.
DBD Corporate Maintenance
Our Junior and Mid-level Lawyers are already capable of independently handling and completing routine DBD registration and corporate maintenance matters.
- Responsible for overseeing work planning, monitoring timelines, reviewing documents and submissions, resolving complex issues, and ensuring that all matters comply with applicable laws and regulatory procedures.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law; a legal practice license (if applicable) or equivalent qualification
- At least 8-10 years of experience in corporate & commercial law, at a law firm or in-house legal team (Senior level)
- Hands-on experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various commercial contracts (SHA, JV, SPA, EPC, etc.)
- Strong understanding of corporate law, corporate restructuring, and DBD registration matters
- Ability to advise clients and executives confidently
- Leadership skills, with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior team members
- Good to very good English proficiency (spoken and written), for communicating with international clients
- Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams, and comfortable working under deadlines
