Senior Cost Controller

Senior Cost Controller provides strong financial oversight by leading all cost accounting and control activities within our Thailand operations.

Senior Cost Controller directly responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust cost accounting systems, providing financial direction through insightful financial analysis recommendations to improve site performance and driving cost optimization initiatives across the organization

Operational Cost Control

- Finance data consolidation:

o Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust cost accounting systems with respect to corporate cost accounting principles

o Understand implications of financial results, variance analyzing covering material, machine, indirect expenses and proactively communicate to operations team the areas of concern and reason for gaps in expected outcme

o Providing insightful financial analysis and driving cost optimization initiatives across the organization

- Demonstrated ability/adeptness with SAP (primary FICO with MM and PM integration >> fixed asset cost)

- Understand relationship of financial accountability to maintain vendor and service provider relationships:

o Bank, domestic authorities (Revenue Department, Labor & Social Welfare Department and Ministry of Commerce), external auditors, insurance obligations

- Remain acutely aware and proactively report market trends that could impact resource costs

- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers

- Understand entire arc of the business and how productivity impacts profitability

- Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromisng quality

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., Thai GAAP, IFRS) and internal control procedures

Budget (Fixed and variable costing)

- Prepare periodic forecasts of production costs and provide variance analysis against the budget

- Lead the development and implementation of the annual budget process for manufacturing and related operational areas

- Monitor actual spending against budget and provide timely alerts and recommendations for corrective ations

Others

- Liasion/coordinator with Thai Bangpoo Services (TBS) for platform financial obligations

- Perform other related duties as assigned by Finance Manager

- Ensure accuracy and thoroughness regarding SAP Master Data maintenance related to FICO module

- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary cost-related documentation and explanations

- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required
