Job Purpose:
Analysing the credit trustworthiness and financial ability of both new and existing clients for their appropriate trading limit include preparing and monitoring the related documents and reports as well as manage the overall exposure to Credit and Market Risk of the company by implementing process and procedure to ensure that risks is being assessed, control, monitored, mitigated, and escalated according to the company's policy and regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Analyse the credit trustworthiness and financial ability of both new client and existing client to provide the appropriate trading limit.
- Monitor trading and implement necessary tools such as pre-trade risk parameter to effectively manage risks related to trading of securities.
- Analyse and set criterions for acceptable securities to be placed as collateral with the company.
- Monitor the valuation of all collaterals to ensure that they are within the acceptable levels. In the event of shortfall, appropriate actions must be taken according to company policy and regulations.
- Provide advice and work with other business and support units to identify risks associated with operating process and/or procedure of existing operations and new business developments.
- Prepare relevant reports required by the Regulators.
- Participate in ad hoc projects assigned by the Head of department.
Qualification Required:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years related experience in securities company.
- Good in MS Office. Competent in advanced MS Excel/VBA will be an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Initiative and able to come up with innovative solutions with pro-active mindset.
- Flexibility, high responsibility and able to work independently under time constraint.
