Responsibilities
- Design, implement, administer, and support Windows-based infrastructure and database security solutions across small- to large-scale cybersecurity projects.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and patch management.
- Deploy, configure, administer, and fine-tune Imperva Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) solutions to protect critical database environments.
- Engage stakeholders to gather and understand business and technical requirements related to Windows infrastructure, database platforms, and database security solutions.
- Work closely with Solution Architects to design and implement secure Windows and database infrastructure in both physical and virtualized environments.
- Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for Windows systems, Microsoft SQL Server, and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM).
- Perform system hardening and security baseline implementation for Windows servers and database platforms in accordance with industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including build guides, standard operating procedures, configuration baselines, and recovery documentation.
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, maintenance activities, disaster recovery exercises, and production implementations.
- Support vulnerability remediation, compliance, audit, and security hardening initiatives for Windows servers and database environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Windows Systems Administration, Microsoft SQL Server, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong experience administering Windows Server environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and administering Imperva Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) solutions.
- Good understanding of database security concepts, database auditing, privileged user monitoring, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting virtualized environments such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft SQL Server certifications
- Imperva Database Security / DAM certifications
- VMware VCP certification
- ITIL Foundation
- CISSP or equivalent security certification would be advantageous
Other Special Working Conditions
- Able to participate in after-hours standby support, scheduled maintenance activities, and emergency production support when required.
