Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst – who builds automated data workflows that explain results, not just dashboards that show numbers.
In this role, you will design analytics workflows that can automatically:
- Explain why performance goes up or down
- Break down campaign or product results from multiple angles in one run
- Summarize insights and key drivers for business and product teams
Instead of manually analyzing dashboards, your work enables teams to ask questions and receive structured, data-backed explanations automatically, with optional AI/LLM support to generate summaries.
What This Role Is (and Is Not)
- This role is:
- Designing long-running analytics workflows that continuously monitor performance
- Automating root-cause analysis (e.g. volume, conversion, pricing, customer mix)
- Building systems that turn data into explanations and recommendations
-This role is NOT:
- Maintaining static dashboards
- One-off reporting or MIS-style data requests
- Waiting for business teams to interpret numbers themselves
Key Responsibilities
- Own analytics for assigned financial product(s) by building automated analysis workflows that explain performance changes end-to-end, rather than manual dashboard reviews
- Design workflows that automatically break down performance questions such as:
- When revenue drops, the system identifies whether the cause comes from volume, conversion, pricing, customer mix, channel performance, or campaign impact — in one run
- Build reusable analytical frameworks that analyze performance across product, customer segment, channel, time, and behavior dimensions, producing structured insights instead of raw metrics
- Develop workflows that summarize campaign and experiment results from multiple angles at once (e.g. uplift, segment impact, sustainability, side effects), eliminating repetitive manual analysis
- Partner with related teams such as engineers or data scientists to integrate analytics outputs with AI / LLM tools that automatically generate insight summaries, explanations, or key highlights for business and product reviews
- Embed these automated insight workflows into regular product, campaign, and performance review processes so teams receive answers, not dashboards
- Mentor analysts to design systems and workflows that continuously generate insights, shifting the team away from ad-hoc reporting and dashboard-driven analysis
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics or product analytics
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience building automated or reusable analytical workflows
- Ability to structure root-cause and performance analysis in a systematic way
- Experience in financial services or data-heavy products is a plus
- Familiarity with AI / LLM, data science, or applied machine learning is a plus
