Data Engineer is an individual who will build the data architecture framework for modern data platforms, following the information governance policies, standards and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data providing options with respect to end state data architecture and implementation of processes, awareness of DG technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
2. Lead the development and deployment of AI and machine learning models to extract insights, automate processes, and enhance decision-making across the organization.
3. Define and implement data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our data infrastructure.
4. Consult on and design data organization structures and taxonomies for optimal use, emphasizing data quality and governance.
5. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data processing workflows and algorithms to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
6. Mentor junior team members, provide technical guidance, and promote knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Able to communicate both writing and speaking in English and Thai
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on financial services or consulting.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with experience in deploying models in production environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead technical projects, mentor junior team members, and drive innovation
