Job Description

Job Description:

  • Perform routine DBA tasks including backup/recovery, performance tuning, and security management.
  • Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.
  • Troubleshoot database and server issues with a hands-on approach to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database scalability, security, and availability.
  • Monitor database health, performance, and resource utilization using tools like OEM.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command-line operations.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery strategies for Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
  • Develop and maintain DR documentation, including recovery procedures and failover plans.
  • Conduct regular recovery testing to validate recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO).
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure end-to-end DR readiness.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication across heterogeneous environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot GoldenGate replication processes, lag, and performance.
  • Design and implement high-availability and fault-tolerant replication architectures.
  • Configure and manage Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance for secure, real-time backup and recovery.
  • Integrate ZDLRA with Oracle databases to ensure zero-data-loss protection.
  • Administer and optimize Oracle Exadata environments for performance and reliability.
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and configuration tuning specific to Exadata architecture.
  • Monitor storage cells, compute nodes, and InfiniBand networks for optimal performance.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor&aposs Degree in any field.
  • At least 3 years of Oracle DBA role experiences.
  • Good command of English communication.
  • Certifications: (if applicable)
  • Oracle Certified Associate (OCA).
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
  • Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
  • Familiar with Linux/Unix, Shell or Python scripting.
