You will lead the demand planning and inventory management process for the respective SBU. You will ensure all processes (RA MC SSPL or SLOB) are smooth. You will analyze inventory and re-balance. You will support leadership team with multiple analysis to allow better inventory management for the respective SBU while maintaining a high customer service level. You will lead SIOP. You will be reporting directly to Thailand Country Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the weekly operations call to plan production and customer demand.
- To coordinate the backlogs/overdue meeting with customer service and production planner.
- Coordinate the SBU demand planning activities - (SIOP, consensus forecast), maintaining the optimum balance between service level (OTIF), inventory (stock levels) and new product introduction (phase in/out).
- Use statistical forecast to produce reliable base demand plan on-monthly-basis with the support from demand review with commercial & site team.
- Review forecast against actual sales and usage and coordinate with planners for replenishment and stock readiness.
- To prepare the demand review deck (presentation) to facilitate the SIOP meeting; participate and document the actions registers (minute meetings) and provide strict follow up on the established agreements later.
- To participate in the supply/demand balancing process ensuring a clear understanding of the assumptions made in the demand plan.
- To highlight/escalate any issues related to demand/supply that requires business decision and follow-up.
- Monthly measurement of Forecast Accuracy SBU KPIs (BIAS & MAPE). Prepare, report, and communicate the results to regional supply chain leaders.
- Perform the necessary analysis to ensure excess, slow moving, expired and dead-stock value is reduced and controlled at an acceptable level.
- Coordinate regionally and globally to manage excess inventory and support internal stock replenishment.
- Execute data uploading and any master data maintenance.
- On quarterly basis review the product/material classification of MTS, MTO & FMTO and make necessary changes after consulting commercial, technical and production team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with exposure to matrix organization and delivering quality results
- Demand and material planning experience from consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of and experience from chemical / paint industry are advantageous.
- Have at minimum, bachelor's degree in engineering, Science or Business management.
- Advance working knowledge with Oracle or SAP.
