Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior Retail Designer to join our Thailand production team, specialising in FMCG, POSM, and shopper marketing communications.

This role is responsible for developing impactful retail and in-store design solutions across a wide range of FMCG campaigns, from concept development through to final production artwork. The successful candidate will combine strong creative thinking with technical production expertise to deliver high-quality retail experiences that drive visibility, shopper engagement, and brand consistency across multiple channels.

Working closely with account servicing, production, sourcing, and creative teams, the Senior Retail Designer will lead the execution of POSM and retail communication materials for international brands while mentoring junior team members and maintaining the highest standards of design accuracy, production quality, and deadline management.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and has a strong understanding of retail execution, shopper behaviour, and FMCG brand environments.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative development and execution of FMCG retail communication and POSM materials across multiple brands and campaigns.
  • Design engaging and commercially effective retail solutions including point-of-sale materials, in-store activations, promotional displays, retail communication assets, and shopper marketing touchpoints.
  • Create a broad range of creative outputs including shelf talkers, wobblers, dump bins, counter displays, posters, brochures, retail toolkits, online banners, social assets, eDMs, and campaign mock-ups.
  • Translate brand strategy and shopper marketing objectives into compelling visual retail experiences that maximise in-store visibility and shopper engagement.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept ideation through to final artwork and production-ready delivery.
  • Ensure all creative outputs adhere to brand guidelines, retailer requirements, technical specifications, and print production standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including account management, sourcing, production, and artwork teams to deliver accurate and high-quality outputs.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers and contribute positively to the creative culture of the team.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail, consistency, and deadline accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain organised working files and follow studio workflow and version control processes.
  • Stay up to date with retail design trends, shopper marketing innovations, materials, print techniques, and emerging creative technologies relevant to FMCG environments

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG, retail design, POSM, or shopper marketing environments within an agency or brand-led business.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in retail communication, POSM systems, FMCG campaigns, and production-led design execution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign within a Mac environment.
  • Strong understanding of print production, artwork preparation, dielines, materials, finishing techniques, and technical specifications for retail execution.
  • Experience working with global FMCG brands and implementing strict brand guidelines across multiple retail and promotional formats.
  • Ability to develop creative retail concepts while balancing commercial objectives, shopper engagement, and production feasibility.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently from brief through to final delivery while also collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Thai.
  • Proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
  • Confident presenting ideas, sharing design rationale, and contributing creatively within team discussions.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience using 3D visualisation or spatial design software such as SketchUp, Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, or similar tools to support retail, POSM, or in-store concept visualisation.
  • Exposure to retail environment visualisation, display mock-ups, or shopper activation design would be considered highly advantageous.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Arts, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related creative discipline.
  • Equivalent professional experience with a strong portfolio in FMCG, retail, POSM, or shopper marketing design will also be considered.
