We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (4-8 years experience) to help us deploy, operate, and scale our platform across customer on-premise environments.
Your Role
Responsibilities
Your role will be to work with the technology, deployment, and customer teams to deploy, operate, and support the platform in customer environments (on-premise and hybrid). Your responsibilities include:
- Design and implement deployment architectures for on-premise and hybrid environments
- Install, configure, and manage containerized services using Docker, docker-compose
- Configure and manage reverse proxies (nginx) and load balancers (HAProxy, L4, L7)
- Set up and troubleshoot TLS certificates, secure communication, and network policies
- Perform network debugging (connectivity, DNS, routing, firewall, WebSockets, etc.)
- Ensure system scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation, and security hardening
- Debug complex issues across application, network, and infrastructure layers
- Build automation tools and scripts using Python and Bash
- Work closely with backend and platform teams to improve deployment reliability
- Document deployment processes, architecture, and troubleshooting procedures
- Take ownership of production readiness and customer deployment success
Your Background
You Should Have
- 4–8 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, SRE roles
- Strong experience with Linux, Unix system administration
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP, IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting nginx, HAProxy, load balancers
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Strong understanding of system reliability, observability, and performance tuning
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- A Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying systems in enterprise on-premise data centers
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., syft, grype, or similar)
- Familiarity with IoT platforms, MQTT, WebSockets, or real-time systems
- Experience with PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB operations
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or orchestration platforms
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Exposure to security frameworks, compliance (ISO 27001, hardening guidelines)
