ABOUT THE POSITION
Perceptra is the leading deep health tech startup in Thailand. Our aim is to develop the artificial intelligence platform for the healthcare industry. We developed Inspectra CXR, the best AI software for chest x-ray analysis in the SEA market supporting Radiologists workflow in more than 200+ hospitals. Our company also develops high-quality AI services for breast cancer screening, diebetic screening from retinal images, and brain hemorrhage detection with recognized partners such as Siriraj Hospital and Google Health.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Perceptra, you will take a leading role in designing, scaling, and optimizing the infrastructure that powers our AI-driven healthcare solutions. You will architect secure, high-availability systems across cloud and on-premise environments, lead DevOps best practices, and mentor junior engineers, while collaborating closely with AI, software, and product teams to ensure seamless deployment pipelines and system reliability.

You'll be part of a mission to improve clinical outcomes through scalable, secure, and intelligent infrastructure systems.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Leadership & Supervision: Supervise and manage internal DevOps projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Infrastructure Architecture & Provisioning: Design, provision, and scale secure and resilient infrastructure in cloud (AWS) and on-premise environments using Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Advanced Container Orchestration: Lead both on-prem and on-cloud deployment process implementation of containerized scalable AI application using Docker and Kubernetes
- Cloud Optimization & Cost Management: Monitor, analyze and manage cloud budgets to ensure all infrastructure both on-premise and on-cloud are cost-efficient.
- CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) to support automated deployment of software and AI/ML workloads across multiple environments.
- Platform Engineering: Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of internal developer platform, which including toolchain integrations (Identity management, CICD, Secret management)
- Microservices Infrastructure: Support and optimize performance of asynchronous Python-based microservices to ensure cost-efficiency
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Grafana Tempo) to proactively ensure system health and performance.
- Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Integrate security best practices into software releasing process with DevSecOps principle to ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Incident Response & Reliability Engineering: Lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, implement preventive solutions, and maintain high system uptime.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Education: Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Senior Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or cloud infrastructure roles, with 3+ years in senior positions.
- Communication & Leadership: Strong communication and collaboration skills; capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams and under pressure, including on-call rotations.
- Continuous Learning: Highly motivated, proactive, self-directed, and continuously seeking to expand technical knowledge through on-the-job learning, projects, and certifications.
- Technical Expertise: 5+ years with Kubernetes technology or 3+ years with EKS, including deep understanding of container orchestration and cloud networking concepts. 3+ years proven experience with comprehensive AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EKS, ECR, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda); experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible with advanced automation capabilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Linux system administration (Ubuntu-based environments, RedHat), including implementation of an immutable OS (Talos OS, Bottlerocket, etc.). Hands-on experience building and maintaining sophisticated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or GitHub Actions with GitOps practices. Advanced proficiency in shell scripting (Bash), Python, SQL, JavaScript, and knowledge of additional programming languages (Go, Rust), with strong Django framework experience.

- Experience with AI/ML workloads (model serving, GPU provisioning, MLflow/ClearML).
