Job Description

Senior Director Information Technology, International Business Unit (IBU) is a key technology leader responsible for driving the strategic direction and delivery of digital solutions spanning applications and data & analytics. This role ensures the successful execution of IT initiatives that enable core manufacturing, financial, commercial, supply chain and human resources across our international businesses in Asia, EU, Mexico and future international growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • International Business Unit (IBU) IT Strategy: Own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management IBU applications and digital solutions that support manufacturing, supply chain, finance, commercial, and corporate functions within IBU.
  • IT Leadership: Lead application & analytics delivery teams in implementing upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement for IBU. Ensure system stability, data integrity, and strong process alignment with business needs.
  • Collaboration with Executives: Collaborate with IBU executives to align IT capabilities with business goals, driving competitive advantage and long-term success.
  • Collaboration with Global Technology Functions: Collaborate with Global Technology Functions (e.g. Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Architecture, Service Desk, Platforms, etc.) to ensure alignment and compliance with policies and procedures; meanwhile driving consistent adoption in IBU adoption of those services offered by global functions.
  • Operational Excellence: Define and implement IBU IT operational excellence strategies, spearhead transformative initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency, and leverage advanced analytics and emerging technologies to optimize IT operations across all functions.
  • Performance Management: Champion the strategic use of the enterprise-wide performance management system across all IT functions, driving innovation in performance evaluation methodologies, aligning performance metrics with long-term organizational goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in IT leadership.
  • Talent and Leadership Development: Spearhead comprehensive talent development initiatives and foster the growth of emerging leaders to drive organizational expansion and ensure effective succession planning and skills development.
  • Vendor and Partner Relationships: Manage relationships with key technology partners, vendors, and industry leaders to ensure effective collaboration and strategic alignment.
  • Champion the local company culture across IBU, provide awareness and training for in-region and cross-region teams to bridge cultural differences and improve collaboration.
  • Proven ability to scale and expand operations in region including developing a recruitment strategy to attract top talent.
  • Engagement with local community and industry to build a positive brand reputation.
  • Working with local site leadership to develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high standards of quality, KPIs and performance of the offshore team.
  • Working with local legal and financial teams to ensure compliance with local and international laws, including data protection and labor laws.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MIS or technical field) preferred
  • Experience: 15+ years of relevant and progressive experience with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams and influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. Experience with SAP and related manufacturing/supply-chain systems is preferred

  • Communication: Persuasively articulate complex technical concepts to C-level executives, influencing key decisions and securing buy-in for strategic IT initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with C-suite executives and IT leadership to drive IT capabilities alignment to business goals.
