Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Development: Contribute to the design and development of vehicle-level or component-level architecture for EV platforms.
  • Logic & Testing: Derive system logics and write comprehensive test cases, with a strong focus on identifying and validating corner cases for embedded HW/SW systems.
  • Documentation: Draft, review, and manage documents such as Product Requirements Documents (PRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Hardware Requirement.Specifications (HRS), Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Verification Plans (DVP).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional internal teams (mechanical, software, hardware) and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Lifecycle Management: Actively participate in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, from concept through to production.
  • Projects: Owned or worked with at least one of the following projects/products end-to-end : Fast charger (LVDC/LECCS, OCPP etc.), Slow Charger(
  • Diagnostics: Manage Field Failures with Interim Corrective Actions (ICA) while working on a Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA).
  • This position will be in our Electric Vehicle (EV) development team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between hardware and software, possessing a strong foundational understanding of embedded system logic, safety standards, and testing methodologies.

  • Ideal Candidate

    • 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience working on vehicle architecture or component architecture, preferably within the EV domain.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
    • Embedded Systems: Solid understanding of the core logic behind embedded Software (SW) and Hardware (HW) systems.
    • Technical Comprehension: Highly proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying technical data sheets and engineering drawings.
    • Functional Safety: A strong ISO 26262 mindset with a working understanding of automotive functional safety standards.
    • Automotive Protocols: Proficiency in standard vehicle communication networks, primarily CAN (Controller Area Network).
    • Basic to intermediate programming proficiency in Python and/or C++ for automation, scripting, or basic tool development.
    • Prior hands-on experience taking at least one component or architectural module through a complete development cycle.
    • Knowledge or Hands-on experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
    • Hands-on work with FOTA.
