Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Events Executive who can independently lead complex client projects and act as a trusted point of contact for both clients and internal teams.
This role is for someone who has already spent several years running corporate events and is comfortable owning projects end-to-end, including proposals, budgets, execution, and client decision-making. You will handle larger or more complex accounts and may mentor junior team members on project execution and standards.
This is not a sales role. You are here to run projects properly, protect margins, manage risk, and deliver high-quality events with minimal supervision.

- Act as the senior point of contact for clients across planning, execution, and post-event follow-up
- Lead proposal development using internal tools (Proposal Builder and Budget Builder), ensuring commercial accuracy and operational feasibility
- Translate complex briefs into clear event strategies, timelines, and budgets
- Manage multiple large-scale or high-stakes projects concurrently
- Oversee project planning, approvals, budgets, and timelines using Asana
- Coordinate closely with creative, operations, vendors, venues, and senior internal stakeholders
- Lead on-site execution, anticipate issues, and resolve problems decisively in real time
- Ensure execution quality, budget discipline, and client satisfaction across all assigned projects
- Provide guidance or informal mentoring to junior team members when needed
- Handle post-event reviews, client feedback, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Events Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in a corporate events or marketing agency environment
- Proven track record managing end-to-end event projects independently
- Strong experience owning proposals, budgets, and execution for medium to large-scale events
- Comfortable making decisions and being accountable for outcomes
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Confident and clear communicator with senior clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail, especially in budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Experience using project management tools (Asana experience is a strong plus)
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays during event periods
