NIE invites suitable candidates to join the Academic Computing and Information Services division (ACIS) as a Senior Executive.
Responsibilities:
Provide efficient administrative support by processing requests promptly, maintaining accurate records, coordinating access and safety matters, communicating clearly within the division, and driving continuous process improvement.
Provides support for IT review and approval of ICT purchase requests, processes IT transactions in ARIBA, maintains transaction and inventory records in SAP and CAMS, facilitates financial and asset audits, manages asset write-off and disposal requests, and supports continuous improvement to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
Provides strategic support to the ACIS Divisional Director's Office in strategic planning and budget management, including the preparation of progress and KPI reports to support planning and decision-making, assisting in the review and coordination of paper submissions, and managing budget planning and submissions for multiple funding sources and ACIS operating budgets. Responsibilities also include budget apportionment, utilisation, and cashflow monitoring.
Provides strategic coordination and support for NTU and industry events and engagement initiatives.
Any other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A Polytechnic Diploma, preferably in Business Studies/Administration
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in finance, procurement and administration. Experience in Higher Education would be an advantage.
Strong administrative, organisational, interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe
Experience with Ariba and SAP is preferred
IT-savvy and comfortable working with digital systems and tools
Proactive and resourceful
Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities
Collaborative and able to work well with others
