Role Overview
We are seeking a high-calibre Account Executive Manager to serve as a key commercial leader at Metier. This is not a passive account management role. You will own the full client lifecycle — from acquisition and onboarding through to retention and revenue expansion — while simultaneously managing and elevating an AE team. You will be a builder: of client relationships, of team capability, and of revenue.
The right candidate is commercially aggressive, intellectually curious across industries, a natural communicator, and fluent in both Thai and English business contexts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Own and drive the sales pipeline: prospecting, pitching, proposal writing, negotiation, and deal closing
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue from both new and existing clients
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Metier's service portfolio
- Lead client presentations and pitches — from deck preparation to live delivery
2. Client Management
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of key accounts across multiple industries (FMCG, real estate, finance, F&B, healthcare, luxury, etc.)
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's business model, competitive landscape, KPIs, and industry dynamics
- Proactively identify client pain points and translate them into actionable Metier solutions
- Ensure consistently high client satisfaction, NPS, and contract renewal rates
- Manage client expectations with clarity, honesty, and professionalism at all times
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives
- Set clear KPIs and performance goals for the AE team; conduct regular reviews and coaching sessions
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture
- Onboard and train new AE hires; build internal SOPs and best practices for client management
- Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive client issues
4. Strategy & Cross-functional Collaboration |
- Collaborate with Creative, Media, Tech, and Strategy teams to ensure flawless campaign and project delivery
- Translate client briefs into clear internal briefs — structured, precise, and actionable
- Contribute to Metier's commercial strategy, pricing models, and service packaging
- Report client and revenue performance to the CEO with clear analysis and forward-looking recommendations
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Gender & Age: Female, aged 28–38 years
- Experience: 5+ years in Commercial, Business Development, Tech Sales, Account Management, or Consulting — preferably in agency, SaaS, or tech-adjacent environments
- Business English: Fluent and natural in both spoken and written English — comfortable in high-stakes client meetings, presentations, formal proposals, and executive-level correspondence. Non-negotiable.
- Sales Ownership: Proven track record of closing deals, hitting revenue targets, and owning a commercial number. Must be a closer, not just a manager.
- Business Acumen: High commercial instinct — understands P&L thinking, client ROI, and value-based selling. Driven by results and revenue growth.
- Structured Communication: Thinks and speaks in frameworks. Can simplify complex, technical, or abstract ideas into clear narratives. Zero tolerance for vagueness or over-explanation.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with AI tools, marketing technology, analytics platforms, and digital ecosystems. Continuously curious about emerging technology.
- Multi-Industry Insight: Ability to quickly understand and empathize with client contexts across diverse industries — from luxury retail to fintech to healthcare.
Strongly Preferred
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a team of account or sales professionals
- Background in digital marketing, martech, or digital transformation consulting
- Experience building or managing pitches for agency-of-record (AOR) or project-based mandates
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent) and pipeline management
- Experience working with C-suite or senior marketing stakeholders on the client side
- Understanding of media buying, performance marketing, SEO/SEM, or marketing analytics
- Demonstrated ability to independently build a client portfolio or book of business
