Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance & Accounting department, ensuring alignment with shareholders agreements, property management agreements, and other related contracts.
- Manage and monitor ongoing finance and accounting functions, coordinating with Shareholders Finance & Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Development, Legal, and other high-level executives to align with shareholders directions and goals.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, corporate, and local tax regulations and internal control policies. This includes full ownership of the company's financial statements and managing relationships with external parties such as auditors, lawyers, the Revenue Department, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee business plan implementation, budget control, and back-office system improvements.
- Serve as the central contact point for requests for reports and information from related entities.
- Supervise the Finance & Accounting staff.
- Manage cash flow.
- Prepare and present financial information, including budgets and audited financial statements, at Board/Shareholders meetings.
- Provide timely performance and ad-hoc reports.
- Ensure the proper financing plan is implemented.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of account closures.
- Ensure forecast P&L and cash flow accuracy
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
2. Minimum 3-5 years work experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3-5 years experience in external audit
3. Experience in an international company is required
4. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred
5. Background with retail or mall business is preferred
6. Knowledge of Thai accounting standards, tax, and commercial law
7. Interpersonal and proactive attitude with proven ability to implement solutions to problems
8. Strong leadership skills, result-oriented, and can work well under pressure
9. Proficiency in English
