We are seeking a commercially-minded Finance professional to act as a key business partner for a major manufacturing site in Chonburi. Rather than focusing solely on historical reporting, this role is embedded within the factory operations to drive cost efficiency and strategic investment.
The Role
You will serve as the financial lead for the plant's operational performance, reporting directly to leadership to ensure the facility meets its global benchmarks.
- Operational Control: Monitor production costs and identify specific areas for margin improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Lead the factory's budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing variance analysis that leadership can actually use to pivot.
- Cost Integrity: Oversee product costing and inventory valuation to ensure global accounting standards are met.
- Investment Analysis: Evaluate CAPEX proposals for new machinery and technology, tracking the ROI of operational projects.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work on-site with Supply Chain and Production heads to improve financial visibility across the floor.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate who understands the language of the factory and can translate it into financial results.
- Background: At least 6 years in Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, or Cost Accounting.
- Technical: Advanced Excel proficiency and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of product costing, inventory management, and month-end closing within an industrial context.
- Communication: Ability to present financial data clearly in English to both local and regional stakeholders.
