Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Front-End Developer specializing in Cloud, you will code user interfaces, including interactions, responsive layouts, and styling, while utilizing and contributing to the IBM Design System. You will work with various programming languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, Node.js, React, Vue, or Angular, to ensure user interfaces are accessible and enhance application performance. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop User Interfaces: Code user interfaces, including interactions, responsive layouts, and styling, using programming languages like JavaScript, Node.js, or frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Implement UIs with IBM Design System: Utilize and contribute to the IBM Design System to implement user interfaces, ensuring consistency and best practices.
- Ensure Accessibility and Performance: Ensure user interfaces are accessible and enhance the performance of the application, considering factors such as responsive design and efficient coding practices.
- Work with Cloud Environments: Demonstrate expertise in multi-cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid clouds, as well as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Apply Cloud Development Concepts: Understand and apply concepts around Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Resiliency, Container Applications using Kubernetes, Content Delivery, and development on competing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
