What You'll Be Doing
Full Stack Development
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs
- Build server-side features using Go, Python, or PHP
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability
- Implement strong security measures to protect data and system integrity
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and scalability
Code Quality & Maintainability
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Uphold best practices, coding standards, and established design principles
- Perform and participate in code reviews to ensure consistent quality
Collaboration
- Work closely with front-end engineers on seamless API integration
- Partner with Product, Design, and QA to deliver features aligned with business goals
- Share knowledge and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
Testing & Reliability
- Debug and test across the full stack to ensure a stable and high-performing product
- Contribute to unit, integration, and performance test strategies
Documentation
- Maintain clear and updated technical documentation, including architecture, APIs, and workflows
- Support onboarding and internal knowledge-sharing through wiki and system documentation
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 24 years of hands-on full-stack or back-end development experience in production systems
- Proficiency in Golang or Python (plus: familiarity with PHP)
- Experience with MySQL and (bonus) MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Strong experience with REST, gRPC, or GraphQL API design
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Gin (Go), Django (Python), or Laravel (PHP)
- Knowledge of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Solid understanding of security principles and data protection practices
- Experience with Git in collaborative environments
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and communication skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams
- Passion for continuous learning and a love for games is a big bonus!
