About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing Full-Stack Engineer to join the engineering team at Aura Wellness. You will be architecting scalable systems, handling high-concurrency traffic, and building robust backend services usingC# .NET and GowithClean Architecture.

You will bridge the gap between complex backend logic and seamless frontend user experiences usingReactand theBFF (Backend for Frontend)pattern. Uniquely, we embrace modern efficiency: you will utilize AI tools (like Claude) to accelerate delivery while exercising strong engineering judgment to ensure code quality and security.

What you'll do

Backend Architecture:Build and maintain new backend services usingC# .NET and GofollowingClean Architectureprinciples.
High-Performance APIs:Design and implement secure, high-performance APIs and core business logic optimized for high concurrency and large-scale traffic.
Database Management:Own thePostgreSQLlayer, including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
Distributed Systems:Implement caching and distributed state management usingRedis, and build asynchronous, event-driven workflows usingRabbitMQorKafka.
Frontend Development:Develop modern, responsive frontend features usingReact, utilizing a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) approach to streamline data delivery.
AI-Augmented Development:Actively use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude) to speed up boilerplate and logic generation, while applying strict code reviews and architectural judgment to the output.

Qualifications

Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, with a strong portfolio of shipping production code.
Technical Stack:
Expertise inC# .NET and Goand the ability to implement Clean Architecture.
Strong proficiency inJavaScript/TypeScriptandReact.
Experience withPostgreSQL /MongoDB(not just using an ORM, but understanding SQL optimization).
Familiarity withRedisand message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
Engineering Context:Experience debugging and optimizing systems for high concurrency and scalability.
AI Proficiency:Comfort working with AI tools to accelerate workflows without sacrificing code quality or security standards.
Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to explain complex technical decisions, and a collaborative mindset.

Nice-to-have

Experience with workflow-heavy products (operations tools, booking, payments, membership, CRM, internal tools).
Familiarity with RBAC/permissions, audit logs, and basic security/privacy patterns.
Experience working in a build from zero or startup environment.
