You will help build modern regulatory application processing systems that support secure, scalable and auditable business workflows. Working within a lean product team, you will develop both backend services and frontend applications while taking ownership of features from design through deployment.
This is a hands-on full stack engineering role with leadership responsibilities. In addition to building software, you will act as the second-in-command to the Tech Lead—providing technical guidance, mentoring junior engineers and stepping into the Tech Lead role during planned absences to ensure delivery continues smoothly.
Success in this role requires strong full stack engineering capability, ownership across the SDLC, DevOps mindset, and the ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic product delivery.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications supporting regulatory processing platforms.
- Develop backend services including REST APIs, business logic, integrations, data pipelines and database solutions.
- Build responsive, component-based frontend applications using React or equivalent modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Deliver end-to-end features across the full software development lifecycle, from solution design through deployment, monitoring and production support.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver high-quality user-facing functionality.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, architecture discussions and solution design.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain engineering standards, software quality and development best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide day-to-day technical guidance.
- Act as the Technical Lead during planned absences by facilitating stand-ups, removing delivery blockers and supporting engineering decisions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, monitoring, observability and operational maintenance.
- Identify technical risks early and recommend practical solutions and trade-offs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling and platform architecture.
What We Are Looking For

- Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications.
- Strong backend development experience building REST APIs, business logic, integrations and database-driven applications.
- Strong frontend development experience using React or equivalent component-based JavaScript frameworks.
