Job Description – Senior Full Stack Java Developer (AWS Preferred)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable cloud-based applications, ensuring data integrity, and supporting end-to-end software development. AWS experience is preferred.

Required Skills

Backend: Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, Kafka

Frontend: Angular/React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

DevOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD

Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Architecture: Microservices, Design Patterns

Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma

Security: JWT, OAuth2

Key Responsibilities

• Work with software and platform engineering teams to deliver next-generation cloud platforms and products.

• Support the full project lifecycle including strategy, design, implementation, automation, production readiness, and documentation.

• Utilize Semantic Web technologies such as RDF, OWL, SHACL and integrate with Answer Set Programming (ASP).

• Establish product configuration solving paradigms.

• Work with ActiveMQ/WMQ, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Java 8, SeedStack, HBase, Kafka, Git, and Docker.

• Develop and maintain Angular/React applications.

• Implement DevOps practices including PaaS, containerization, CI/CD, and service orchestration.

• Participate in application architecture definition, technology stack selection, research, and prototyping.

• Develop cloud blueprints, transition plans, and technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software application development experience.

• Experience building APIs and RESTful services.

• Knowledge of ActiveMQ JMS or similar JMS technologies.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, SQLNet, and JPA.

• Experience migrating applications from physical and virtual environments to cloud platforms.

Good to Have

• HDFS/Hadoop and HBase experience.

• Device Management knowledge including LWM2M and OTA updates.

• IoT Platform knowledge such as PTC ThingWorx, HPE Universal IoT Platform, Connected Things Hub (CTH), and Cloud of Things (CoT).

• AWS Cloud experience.
