- Journal Entries & Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare, verify, and post complex general ledger journal entries (prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany). Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to maintain ledger integrity.
- Record-to-Report (R2R) Ownership: Support end-to-end R2R workflows, maintaining strong internal controls, proper backup documentation, and compliance with corporate accounting policies.
- Variance & Financial Analysis: Perform monthly GL variance analysis, investigating unexpected account fluctuations and providing actionable commentary to US finance leadership.
- ERP Maintenance: Manage general ledger account mappings, recurring entries, and sub-ledger reconciliations in modern ERP systems.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Prepare audit schedules and liaise with US internal and external audit teams during year-end and quarterly reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with US-based stakeholders, AP/AR teams, and FP&A to resolve reporting discrepancies promptly during US business hours.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CPD qualification is an advantage).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), R2R, or financial reporting. Experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) or multinational corporation (MNC) is highly preferred.
- Accounting Standards: Strong knowledge of general accounting principles; hands-on exposure to US GAAP is a major advantage.
- Proficiency with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent English skills (both written and spoken) to comfortably collaborate with US stakeholders and management via video calls and messaging apps.
- Ability and willingness to work US business hours (night shift in Thailand time zone) consistently on a long-term basis.
