Responsibility:
Submit import permit applications to relevant government agencies, including:
Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI): NSW submission, E-scope application, Mor 5/1, Mor 5, and all related documents required by TISI.
National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC): Khor Thor 1 permit, NBTC reporting, and other documents related to NBTC requirements.
Central Bureau of Weights and Measures (CBWM).
Other authorities as required, depending on the nature of the product.
Analyze and determine the appropriate permit type required for each product based on its HS Code and technical specifications.
Plan permit applications in accordance with import schedules to avoid any delays that could affect production.
Prepare all supporting documents for permit applications, such as product information, supplier documents, technical data, certificates, and applicable standards.
Coordinate with government authorities, supplier representatives, and relevant internal departments.
Monitor the status of permit applications, identify potential delays, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues professionally.
Develop and maintain internal checklists or standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each type of permit application.
Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Import and Logistics departments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of direct experience in applying for TISI, NBTC, CBWM, or other government permits (experience in the automotive industry is a plus).
Strong understanding of import processes, HS Codes, and regulatory frameworks in Thailand.
Ability to analyze and translate technical documents and prepare government applications accurately.
Professional communication skills when dealing with government officials and suppliers.
Strong time management, planning, and documentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
Good command of English (spoken and written). Chinese language skills are a plus.
