Analyze customer requirements, legal regulations and internal specification to be applied in Testing strategies of products
Lead new EOLT projects from the concept and requirements phase through to design, deployment, and final commissioning on the production floor
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Product Design, Quality, and Production) to define comprehensive test requirements and specifications
Develop project timelines, manage resources, and oversee external vendors or system integrators to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior test engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
Test System Design, Development, Validation:
Work with key supplier's or internal team to develop EOLT specifications for new equipment's (Hardware & Software)
Architect robust and scalable EOLT hardware and software solutions for complex mechatronic and electronic modules
Design test fixtures, select appropriate instrumentation (e.g., DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, audio analyzers, RF testers, vision systems), and review the electrical/mechanical schematics
Develop, debug, and validate test sequences and software, primarily using NI LabVIEW and TestStand
Perform TDC (Test Design Checker ) tool to checks Test Methodology/Coverage during DFT (Design For Test) Design Review, with R&D interaction
Vision Inspection: Presence/absence of components, LED color and intensity verification
Analyze test cases and failure, providing scenarios and proposing actions based on results
Perform validation, capabilities, test coverage and stability performance of testers
Validate PG RAISE and CdC standards which are created by M/D Standard Owners
Validate any change of standard propose by sites in new investments for Testing equipment's
Validate the assembly line included on each CAA, in concept, cycle time and investment values
Contribute to product & process FMEA, assisting Testing technicians in daily activities
Production Support & Continuous Improvement:
Support transition of newly developed processes into serial production, providing process / equipment specification and qualification
Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex EOLT troubleshooting and downtime events in production
Analyze test data, yield reports, and failure trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Lead initiatives to optimize existing EOLT systems for improved cycle time, stability, and measurement capability (e.g., performing Gage R&R studies)
Manage changes, updates, and upgrades to EOLT software and hardware for new product variants or engineering change orders
Monitor testing TLR, analyze defects, and propose action plans to reduce
Perform survey of equipment in continuous improvement & cost reduction mindset to optimize investments, material & labor costs
Documentation & Standardization:
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including test specifications, system architecture diagrams, schematics, validation reports, and user manuals
Contribute to the development and enforcement of test engineering standards and best practices within the department
