We're Hiring: Senior Manager Investment

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Department: Investment

Reports to: Head of Investment

I. Job Summary

The successful candidate shall be responsible for the general account investment portfolio, unit linked, new asset classes and related derivative transactions (Life and Non-life portfolios), to achieve financial goals, investment performance and analysis and customer service standards in alignment with the Company's strategic direction and policy.

This includes initiating and setting up the working procedures to comply with the Office of Insurance Commission, Thai SEC, Bank of Thailand and the Generali Investment Group policy, and working with the Head of Investment on other investment related projects.

II. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Asset Allocation (40%)

  • Construct SAA aligned with market environment and strategic planning.
  • Conduct macro research, financial forecast, quantitative and credit analysis.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate data for ALM & IRA.
  • Integrated planning and reporting with Thai SEC and OIC.

2. Investment Management (50%)

  • Manage total return and liability matching portfolios.
  • Improve ALM analysis and reporting.
  • Support new product development (Life/Non-life).
  • Implement first-level controls aligned with Risk Appetite Framework.
  • Enhance investment capabilities in derivatives, global and alternative assets.

3. Stakeholder Coordination (10%)

  • Collaborate with Group and Asia Regional Investment teams.
  • Ensure alignment with governance and best practices.
  • Perform other investment-related duties as assigned.

III. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and investment technical skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in Banking, Securities, Investment Management, ALM, Finance & Accounting, Actuarial, or Life Insurance is preferred.
