Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and forward-thinking Senior IT & Digital Systems Specialist to support the company's digital transformation across multiple countries.

This role will focus on:

  • Structuring and improving existing stand-alone and cloud-based IT systems
  • Enhancing cybersecurity and system resilience
  • Driving practical digital transformation, including automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency across the business
  • Partnering with business teams to implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency

The incumbent will act as the bridge between business needs and technology, ensuring that solutions are practical, scalable, and adopted effectively.

This is a senior individual contributor role in an evolving SME environment, requiring someone comfortable working with ambiguity, multiple stakeholders, and progressive implementation.

Key Responsibilities

IT Systems & Cybersecurity

  • Review and optimise all stand-alone and cloud-based IT systems
  • Identify system gaps, inefficiencies, and risks across infrastructure and applications
  • Implement and strengthen baseline cybersecurity practices
  • Address system vulnerabilities and improve system resilience

Digital Transformation, AI & Automation

  • Identify and prioritise technology-driven improvement initiatives aligned with business needs
  • Drive implementation of digital solutions to improve workflows, efficiency, and scalability
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools across functions eg monitoring, reporting process automation)
  • Partner with business teams to implement and operationalise solutions
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend practical, fit-for-purpose adoption
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, usable, and not over-engineered

Business & Stakeholder Interface

  • Act as a key interface between business teams and technology solutions
  • Translate operational needs into clear technical requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design practical solutions
  • Communicate technical concepts in a clear, practical, and user-friendly manner

Vendor & Project Management

  • Partner with external vendors for system implementation, upgrades, and specialised support
  • Provide inputs on cost and vendor considerations
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet business requirements
  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end project implementation across multiple locations

Adoption & Change Enablement

  • Support business teams in adopting new systems and tools
  • Facilitate basic training, workshops, and hands-on support where required
  • Drive user adoption and continuous improvement of implemented solutions

Regional Systems Oversight

  • Provide oversight of IT systems across Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, and other regional offices
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve systemic issues and improve reliability
  • Support multi-country deployments, upgrades, and standardisation initiatives

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure IT systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Track project progress and report outcomes to the Group Chief Operating Officer

IT Operations & User Support

  • Provide oversight and support for day-to-day IT operations, including basic helpdesk and end-user support where required
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine IT issues, or coordinate with vendors and internal teams for resolution
  • Ensure timely handling of IT support requests across regional offices
  • Support onboarding/offboarding IT setup and access where applicable
  • Maintain basic IT hygiene, system access controls, and user support processes

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, PMP, ITIL).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of IT experience (infrastructure, systems or transformation)
  • Experience in SME or evolving environments (preferred) and multi-site or regional operations
  • Exposure to AI tools or automation for business applications
  • System monitoring and performance tools
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Proven ability to drive implementation, not just strategy
  • Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory
  • Willingness to be based onsite in Thailand (Bangkok) or Myanmar (Yangon)
