Brief Summary:
Join a dynamic team as a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining high-performance IT infrastructure in both cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure across cloud, servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
- Implement and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Provide administration and support for core AWS services, including Red Hat OpenShift, S3, VPC, and more.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues while delivering L2/L3 support.
- Execute infrastructure upgrades and manage patching activities.
- Maintain and oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Document infrastructure processes, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee and monitor batch jobs and file transfers.
- Ensure adherence to internal security policies and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with audits, risk assessments, and remediation efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or a similar technical capacity.
- Relevant AWS cloud certifications.
- Strong practical experience with AWS cloud services, Linux and Windows servers, networks, and virtualization tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., JIRA Service Management) is advantageous.
