Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer — Digital Banking

Location: Singapore

Our client, a leading Digital Bank is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to own our infrastructure end-to-end — from disaster recovery to AI-driven infrastructure innovation — in a highly regulated digital banking environment.

This is a hands-on ownership role, not a maintenance seat. You'll architect a scalable, secure, compliant infrastructure stack across cloud and on-premise environments, manage the full IT asset and data centre lifecycle (vendor selection through tech refresh), and lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning. You'll drive patch management, capacity planning, and incident resolution, partner with security on access controls and audit readiness, and champion automation and AIOps as we modernise.

What you'll need:

• 7+ years in IT infrastructure management, ideally within banking or financial services
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud) with relevant certification, plus familiarity with DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code
• Network certification (e.g. CCNA) and experience with routers, firewalls, switches, and data centre management
• Proven disaster recovery / business continuity experience and strong vendor management background
• Solid grounding in ITSM and incident handling
• Strong architecture, communication, and leadership skills — comfortable owning priorities across departments in a fast-moving environment
• Bilingual Mandarin and English is required, as there will be close engagement with stakeholders and teams in China.
• A fintech background is a strong plus
