Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced application infrastructure, DevOps, and deployment processes. The candidate will be responsible for Java application development, CI/CD pipeline setup, and deployments across UAT and production environments. Experience with UOB-specific tools and processes will be highly preferred (not Mandatory).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support Java-based applications.
• Develop and support microservices using established enterprise frameworks, including UFW.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Plan and execute application deployments across UAT and production environments.
• Coordinate release activities, deployment validation, rollback planning, and post-deployment checks.
• Support application infrastructure setup and environment-related troubleshooting.
• Manage application certificates, including certificate issuance, renewal, installation, and validation.
• Perform and resolve findings from Veracode and SonarQube security and code-quality scans.
• Preferred Work with UOB-standard tools and processes, including WCM, Aldon, Control-M, and other deployment and release-management tools.
• Support application integration and file-transfer processes using tools such as Connect.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and production-support teams.
• Prepare and maintain deployment procedures, release documentation, operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot deployment and application issues across Windows, Linux, and AS400 environments.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in application development and support.
• Hands on experience on project deployment and implementation
• Good knowledge on devOps and solid skill to manage Jenkins pipeline / agent
• Good knowledge on Linux platform and shell scripting
• Familiar with software product like Control M, Aldon RDO and Connect Direct
• Good java development skill on top of Spring boot
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience executing UAT and production deployments.
• Good understanding of application infrastructure and environment configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working within the UOB technology environment.
• Familiarity with UOB tools and processes, particularly WCM, Aldon, and UFW.
• Exposure to AS400 platforms.
• Experience with Control-M and Connect.
• Banking or financial-services application experience.
• Understanding of security, audit, change-management, and production-release controls.
