Senior Java + React Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java + React Developer to join our team in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Java frameworks, frontend development with React, and cloud-native solutions. This role requires both technical excellence and leadership qualities to guide the team, ensure delivery quality, and foster collaboration.

Technical Skills

Backend Development:

o Strong experience with Spring Boot 3 and Java 21+

o Proficiency in Hibernate and Oracle databases

o Knowledge of Gradle/Maven build tools

Frontend Development:

o Advanced expertise in React.js

Cloud & DevOps:

o Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines

o Familiarity with AWS Services: ECS, CodeDeploy, AWS AppConfig, AWS X-Ray

o Knowledge of OpenTelemetry configuration

o Experience with GitHub Actions and Docker setup Soft Skills

Provides clarity on story breakdown, estimation, and prioritization

Skilled at identifying risks and proposing innovative solutions

Actively supports and mentors other developers

Communicates complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Promotes knowledge sharing and team cohesion

Balances short-term needs with long-term objectives

Sets high standards for quality and reliability

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React

Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions

Deploy and manage applications on AWS ECS and related services

Configure OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

6+ years of experience in Java and React development

Proven track record in cloud-native application development

Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
