Core Responsibilities
- Expert Identification: Perform definitive analysis on natural, treated, and Synthetic gemstones using advanced spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman, UV-Vis-NIR). and chemical analysis (EDXRF or LIBS).
- Process Leadership: Help refine our laboratory workflows as we expand, ensuring that our high-volume output never compromises scientific integrity.
- Mentorship: Act as a technical lead for junior gemologists, fostering a collaborative environment of continuous learning and discovery.
- Research & Development: Stay current with the latest gemological literature and update lab protocols . Participate in internal research projects
What We Are Looking For
- The Credentials: GG (GIA), FGA (Gem-A), or equivalent.
- The Experience: 5+ years in a high-level laboratory setting with a deep portfolio of colored stone analysis.
