Job Summary:
The Senior Logistics Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, including both import and export activities across all transportation modes (Air, Sea, and Cross-border). This role ensures smooth, cost-effective, and timely movement of art toy products while maintaining compliance with customs regulations and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily import and export operations across Air, Sea, and Cross-border transportation
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Prepare and review shipping documentation (e.g., Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB/TWB, Form E, Form D, import/export declarations)
- Submit TISI applications to obtain Import Permits for products under regulatory control prior to customs clearance
- Handle customs clearance processes and resolve shipment or documentation issues promptly
- Monitor shipment status and proactively manage delays, risks, or disruptions
- Ensure accurate HS Code classification and proper duty and tax calculation
- Collaborate with warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams to align shipment schedules and requirements
- Maintain logistics records, reports, and performance tracking metrics
- Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations and internal SOPs
- Support product launches by ensuring timely delivery and availability of products
- Apply strong organizational and problem-solving skills in daily operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years for Logistics Officer and More than 5 years for Senior Logistics Officer of experience in logistics, import/export, or freight operations
- Strong knowledge of international shipping across Air, Sea, and Cross-border modes, including customs procedures
- Hands-on experience with shipping documentation and coordination with freight forwarders
- Familiarity with HS Code classification and basic regulatory requirements (e.g., TISI)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis and reporting
- Good command of English (both written and spoken)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
