As the Senior Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and materials within a supply chain, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products and services for export and import. Our people are our greatest strength,
What will you do
- Book the vessel for export shipment by comparing the cost, services and time.
- Preparation of export process including registration that are related.
- Work with shipping agents to clear custom for importing goods and raw material. Also coordinate with internal colleagues to schedule the incoming from port and where to keep the products (Internal and External Warehouse). Communicate and collaborate with team and related functional. Prepare of import process including import license and registration.
- Plan daily operations for handling shipment details such as container confirmation, picking list, shipping document preparation and verify the required shipping documents which related to import and export clearance. Coordinate with relevant departments on the arrangement and dispatch of exported goods.
- Plan, update shipment, control shipments, and focus on freight cost summary. Lead the team in conducting oversee shipment information. Ensure all communicate has been flowed to all related department both internal and external party.
- Verify documents and confirm to related parties. In charge of shipping document verification.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure, we clear customs in the right process and registration (H.S.Code, Excise tax, Any privileges; Form D, JTEPA etc.)
- Preparation of excise reports and work with supply chain team for excise products.
- Taking care of logistics activities and provide correct guideline to support smooth operations both inbound and outbound. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and best practices to improve freight forwarder efficiency and reduce costs by comparison and negotiating with our co- freight forwarder and shipping agent in order to have efficiency on cost and services to customer satisfaction.
What are we looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management, Import-Export management, or supply chain, with a proven track record in managing import-export operations.
- Solid experience in a similar role, preferably in the Chemical, Pharma or FMCG industry.
Languages: Conversational level in English and Thai high level is a must
