Position: Senior Manager (Insurance Payco) – Payments

Arbeit Group is currently supporting one of our clients in hiring a Senior Manager (Insurance Payco) – Payments to lead strategic Accounts Payable operations, payment execution, and vendor management within a fast-paced and transformation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the Accounts Payable Payments team, driving operational excellence and alignment with business goals
- Oversee end-to-end invoice processing and payment execution, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Manage payment operations, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, to ensure optimized cash flow
- Lead vendor relationship management, handling complex payment queries and discrepancies
- Oversee reconciliation of AP records with vendor statements and resolve issues proactively
- Deliver data-driven reporting on payment status, cash flow trends, and AP performance
- Drive automation initiatives and process improvements across payment operations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Extensive experience managing Accounts Payable – Payments operations
- Experience working with insurance clients or the financial services industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and financial controls
- Experience with Oracle / AP systems / Payroll tools is an advantage
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reporting)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage teams effectively
