Senior Manager – AI Engineer Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Senior Manager – AI Engineer Specialist to lead the design, development, deployment, and scaling of our enterprise AI foundation platform. This role bridges advanced AI capabilities with practical business solutions, driving enterprise-wide AI adoption through production-proven systems.
Key Responsibilities
AI Platform Architecture & Core Engineering
- Architect and build the core AI Foundation Platform to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient AI deployment across the organization
- Translate technical requirements into enterprise architecture, robust implementation plans, and production deployment artifacts
- Transition the organization from legacy frameworks to a highly scalable, future-ready AI platform
Advanced AI Systems
- Design, build, and operate production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using vector search, embedding stores, and prompt orchestration
- Develop and deploy high-impact AI components for OCR, autonomous agents, conversational interfaces, and recommendation engines using modern LLM frameworks
- Establish and optimize OCR/NLP pipelines, recommendation systems, and complex data transformation workflows in production environments
MLOps, Automation & Operational Excellence
- Define and maintain MLOps best practices across the lifecycle, including model versioning, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration
- Manage production operations for AI assets, including monitoring, logging, drift detection, and automated rollback procedures
- Identify automation opportunities to streamline AI engineering workflows and reduce manual effort
Collaboration, Leadership & Communication
- Lead cross-team execution and conduct architecture reviews and code-level design discussions
- Act as a technical bridge, enabling the creation of AI-powered self-service assets and accelerating enterprise-wide AI adoption
- Provide clear updates on platform capability, cost optimization, and performance metrics to both technical teams and senior stakeholders
Qualifications / Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, AI Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML systems in a production environment
- Proven track record of delivering production-quality, mission-critical AI systems in enterprise environments
Technical & AI Framework Expertise
- Strong experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and LLM orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)
- Advanced Python engineering skills, including model serving, API development, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including AI services, secure storage, and cloud-native security frameworks
- Hands-on experience with real-world production deployment
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Excellent technical communication skills, with experience in architecture reviews and cross-functional alignment
- Strong analytical and multitasking abilities with a hands-on mindset
- Good verbal and written English communication skills for regional and vendor collaboration
