The role is to lead management account and analysis team for financial analysis to support management to achieve target and in line with Company strategy and goal. The role is to establish and design the insight analysis report including Financial, Operation and budget presentation. It is also included regular performance reporting and analysis, align with Financial Accounting team and automation improvement work in reporting area to reduce inefficiency and provide efficient report for management to support decision making. The responsibility areas cover all financial result, company performance, group performance, capital expenditure, operating expenditure, stock management, store performance, DC cost monitoring & performance, company profitability.
Financial Business Partnership and Improve Financial Processes
- Partner with business leaders to bring finance and analytics insights to the specific growth and objective achievement as well as support the business decisions from a financial perspective.
- Perform role of finance partner in executing business strategies by providing finance and analytics insights in all aspects, business strategic planning, trended future requirements and analyse target portfolio in order to bring the specific growth and objective achievement.
- Advise business leaders on opportunities and risks impacting business performance and monitor performance relative to our strategic operating plans
- Drive process improvements in the forecasting/budgeting processes, including implementation of a financial planning tool
Financial Performance and Risk Analysis and Report
- Lead in the preparation of monthly management presentation for top executives, describe financial performance, cash flow management, financial budget, forecast revenue & profitability, analyse financial results and evaluate alternatives to drive business.
- Manage weekly/monthly financial performance monitoring Company, Group, store, DC
- Develop new management report to support new business activity and company strategy
- Work closely with Finance Planning, Controls, and Operation Finance teams to identify/flag risks and opportunities on P&L.
- Financial Performance and Risk Analysis and Report
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to group leaders for decision-making analysis. Identify key variance and underlining reasons/root cause.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting packages
Strategic Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
- Lead development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Business Plan (SBP), and monthly Rolling Forecast on P&L
- Develop Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Policies and Procedures
- Manage robust Rolling Forecast process on P&L with accuracy
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics MBA preferred
- 10 year in finance experience in FP&A, corporate finance, management account, business analysis in complex trading or financial analysis area (preferably in retail or FCMG companies),
- 7 years at supervisory level with planning, budgeting and forecasting, navigating and managing a financial P&L, delivering insight-driven commercial analysis
- FP&A skills (Budgeting, Financial Modeling, Variance & Ad Hoc Reporting)
- Experience in BI, dashboard implementation/ development is preferable
- Ability to present complex financial issues simply and effectively.
- Comfortable and adept at influencing at senior levels
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills backed by strong analytical skills and conceptual modelling.
