Job Description

Job Desc :

  • Responsible for idsMED's management reporting packages (including financial budget and forecast, trends and variance analysis, P&L analysis, etc) as well as providing commentary analysis to senior management
  • Lead Finance Transformation initiatives to meet cost reduction and value improvement goals. Obtain buy-in from operating and finance leaders. Oversee execution of projects necessary to achieve the objective.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and refine understanding around the opportunities and potential go-forward options. Includes transitioning of finance processes out of business units to consolidate in to centers of excellence, as well as investing in areas to enhance business partnering value provided
  • Support the development of the overall Finance Transformation change management strategy and drive changes in the Finance organization.
  • Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts and annual reports. Implement financial plans
  • Reconcile balance sheets, analyze margins. Oversee the extension of credit to customers
  • Develop external relationships, for example; solicitors, bankers, Inland Revenue Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
  • Arrange new sources of finance and debt facilities
  • Keep on top of changes in regulation and legislation and new industry developments
  • Working with Departments and teams
  • Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis
  • Set up and organise a fit-for-purpose treasury function
  • Implement an enterprise-wide treasury strategy and policy
  • Prepare group cash flow forecast and ensure cash management is optimised
  • Lead other group-wide projects to consciously improve the cash reporting, forecasting and management processes and treasury function
  • Ensure tax efficiency and compliance for both direct and indirect tax
  • Responsible for implementation of risk management process
  • Ensure all risks are adequately covered and mitigated
  • Perform financial due diligence during Merger and Acquisition exercises
  • Any other tasks as deemed required by immediate superior or management.

Work Experience & Qualification :

  • Candidates must possess at least Degree in Finance/Accounting or related professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
  • At least 8-13 years experience in a similar role.
  • Preferably specializing in planning and reporting, corporate finance from large multi-national Companies and/or audit experience in major audit firms.
  • Good exposure to accounting systems or ERP system, prior experience in Dynamics 365, Global Procurement Office would be an advantage.
  • Experience in managing cash flow, working capital, taxes, transfer pricing, risk management and insurances, budget, and general accounting.
  • Conversant with the local regulatory environment related to the business including any finance, accounting, and tax requirements and advise senior management the business implication of any regulatory requirement.
  • Possess proven ability to set-up and/or oversee all financial and operational controls and metrics.
  • Proficient in analysing financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Excellent commercial flair and industry experience.
