Position: Senior Manager – Finance

Position Reports to: Finance Director – Operations & Innovation

Department: Finance

Location: Surat Thani, Thailand

Summary of the position:

Financial strategic partner of plant managements to improve production cost and benefit, engages in financial analysis, reporting and manage overall payroll, finance and accounting tasks.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities

Plant Accounting and Finance

• Drive the plants strategies.
• Budgeting preparation, analysis and presenting.
• Forecast of performance for the remainder of the year.
• Overall plant and R&D accounting and financial reporting and activities.
• To ensure each step of the month end process is completed timely and accurately,
• Analysis and reporting of the plant's financial performance.
• Assessment of risks and opportunities.
• To ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.
• Develop cost estimates for new product.
• Capital project reviews.
• Support internal or external auditors.

Talent Scout, Coach, and Judge

• providing leadership and direction to the finance team.
• Ensure the finance team consists of sufficient and appropriate talent.
• Development needs and desires of finance teams.
• Ensure that finance organization is appropriately aligned with the plant's needs.
• Ensure that the team is engaged and delivering against plant's needs.
• Coach staff through challenging assignments.

Payroll

• Overall review and approved employees payroll.
• Prepare Manager payroll and tax.

Plant activities supporting

• Participates in special projects as appropriate.
• Quality Management System Regulation.
• To ensure the SHE activities are performed effectively and successfully.
• Maintain compliance with all internal and external EHS rules, regulations, and other Risk Management requirements.
• Actively use the safety calendar (or contribute to the activities prescribed in Plant GM's calendar) as an accountability tool to measure safety performance and to promote the development of EHS culture.

Key Position Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting/Finance

Job Experience

• At least 8 plus years in management level in Finance or accounting with manufacturing in MNC company.
• Background and ability to demonstrate a high level of technical and managerial skills in the accounting & operations environment.
• Strong experience with standard cost accounting.
• Strong communication with colleagues across the globe to accomplish.

Knowledge and Skills

• Able to work well with shifting proprieties and multiple deadlines.
• Expertise in financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Expertise in managerial financial reporting and analysis.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Proficiency level in MS Excel and Power point.
• Ability to extract data from main ERP and develop analysis.

Desirable Job Competencies

• Proven leadership skills with ability to build trust, provide direction, drive alignment and execute with excellence.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Have strong planning, organization, and problem solving.
