Job Description

Role Purpose

To lead and drive all financial planning and analysis activities, providing high-quality insights, strategic recommendations, and financial guidance to support business growth, improve profitability, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Planning

  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning (3–5 years)
  • Develop integrated financial models linking P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
  • Support strategic initiatives, expansion plans, CAPEX investments, and new product launches
  • Evaluate business cases, ROI, and feasibility analysis

2. Business Partnering & Decision Support

  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior leaders (Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain)
  • Provide financial insights to support pricing strategy, promotions, and channel performance
  • Influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations
  • Support management in driving revenue growth and margin improvement

3. Manufacturing & Cost Analysis (Critical for Food Industry)

  • Lead product costing, standard costing, and cost variance analysis
  • Monitor and analyze raw material costs, production efficiency, waste, and yield
  • Partner closely with plant/operations team to drive cost optimization and productivity improvements
  • Analyze inventory levels, slow-moving stock, and working capital efficiency

4. Financial Performance Management

  • Deliver monthly performance analysis and management reports with clear insights
  • Track key KPIs such as gross margin, contribution margin, cost per unit, and operational efficiency
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Present financial results and insights to senior leadership

5. Commercial & Revenue Analysis

  • Analyze sales performance by product, channel, and customer segments
  • Support margin analysis, pricing reviews, and promotional effectiveness
  • Provide insights into customer profitability and business mix optimization

6. Process Improvement & Systems

  • Enhance FP&A processes, reporting accuracy, and automation
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, dashboards, and data analytics tools
  • Partner with IT and other functions to strengthen data visibility and reporting capabilities

7. Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure financial planning processes comply with internal controls and corporate policies
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and ensure strong governance
  • Support internal/external audit and corporate reporting requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in FP&A / commercial finance
  • Proven track record in business partnering and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail
  • Excellent business acumen and commercial mindset
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-leadership, ownership mindset, and ability to work under pressure
  • Continuous improvement mindset and adaptability
