Key Responsibility:
Strategic Sourcing:
- Lead to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to ensure the availability of high-quality products and services.
- Oversees analysis of product, market trends and product portfolio to define synergy opportunities, and get insights on product, volume, packaging, quality, brand for the purpose of bundling the purchasing volume across the Group to achieve better purchasing conditions.
Cost Management:
- Implement cost-effective procurement strategies that drive savings without compromising product quality or service levels.
- Analyze market trends, conduct benchmarking, and leverage data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Cross-functional and External Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Operations to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with international procurement, including geopolitical, regulatory, and supply chain disruptions.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
Process Improvement and Reporting:
- Continuously assess and enhance procurement processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Present regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, supplier performance, and other key metrics to management.
Qualifications:
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Food Engineering, Economics or a related field.
- At least 7–10 years as Buyer or related role, with a focus on international sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, trade regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational, project management and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Strong ethical and compliance orientation.
