Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. This role is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, workforce planning, employee engagement, and change management while ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior leaders and management teams.
- Partner with business stakeholders to align people strategies with business goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations using HR metrics, analytics, and trends.
Talent & Workforce Management
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies for critical roles.
- Identify high-potential employees and support leadership development programs.
Performance & Rewards
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and calibration.
- Advise leaders on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
- Partner with Rewards/Compensation teams on salary reviews, incentives, and promotions.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Manage complex employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and analyze survey outcomes to recommend action plans.
Change & Organizational Development
- Support organizational change initiatives such as restructuring, transformation, and cultural change.
- Coach leaders on change management and communication strategies.
- Drive HR transformation projects and continuous process improvements.
Policy, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to employment laws, labor regulations, and internal policies.
- Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support audits and ensure HR governance standards are met.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide HR team members and junior HRBPs (if applicable).
- Collaborate closely with COE teams (Talent, L&D, Rewards, HR Operations).
- Represent HR in leadership forums and cross-functional projects.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Master's Degree or professional certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Minimum 10–12 years of HR experience, with 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or senior HR leadership role.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HR practices and employment legislation.
- Proven experience partnering with senior leaders in a complex or matrix organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
