The Industrial Decarbonisation (ID) Practice

Our Industrial Decarbonisation Practice is at the forefront of supporting industries in their transition towards low-carbon and net-zero operations. We work with industries, governments, financial institutions, and development agencies to develop and implement decarbonisation strategies through:

• Energy efficiency and GHG reduction strategies
• Industrial decarbonisation roadmaps and net-zero pathways
• Technology assessments and feasibility studies
• Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS)
• Material Circularity and Resource Efficiency
• Green Hydrogen and emerging low-carbon technologies
• Policy and regulatory advisory
• Capacity building and knowledge dissemination

We are looking for an energetic and experienced professional to strengthen our Industrial Decarbonisation Practice.

As a Manager / Senior Manager in our ID Practice, you will:

• Shape the Future: Lead industrial decarbonisation initiatives across sectors and support clients in achieving their sustainability and net-zero ambitions.
• Innovate: Develop innovative solutions and implementation strategies for decarbonisation technologies and low-carbon transitions.
• Collaborate: Work closely with industries, government bodies, development agencies, and stakeholders to foster meaningful partnerships and deliver impactful projects.
• Deliver Results: Manage projects independently and ensure timely, high-quality execution while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Research and Advise: Undertake technology assessments, policy studies, feasibility assessments, and benchmarking studies to support informed decision-making.
• Drive Business Growth: Support proposal preparation, respond to EOIs/RFQs/RFPs, and contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives.
• Inspire: Lead and mentor teams of analysts and consultants while promoting knowledge sharing and innovation.
• Lead with Thought Leadership: Contribute to industry discussions, publish insights, and position the organisation as a thought leader in industrial decarbonisation.

What You Bring to the Table

• Deep Sector Expertise: Strong understanding of industrial decarbonisation technologies such as CCUS, Fuel Switching, Material Circularity, Green Hydrogen, and other emerging low-carbon technologies.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of the legal, regulatory, and technical aspects of Energy Conservation, Renewable Energy, and Industrial Decarbonisation.
• Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of industrial energy efficiency, GHG accounting methodologies, decarbonisation pathways, and low-carbon technology deployment strategies.
• International Exposure: Experience working with multilateral and bilateral donor-funded programmes would be an added advantage.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage assignments independently with a focus on quality, timelines, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an ability to develop innovative and practical solutions.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams and effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

Educational Requirement: BE – Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical and MBA

Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of prior management consulting experience.
